This is a day when the Buderim Aussie
Spirit really shines! Much of the activity centres around the Buderim
School Oval, with a Bush Breakfast cooked onsite for all comers. Various
activities are seen through the day, these vary from year to year.
People travel from near and far to join in the Australia Day celebrations on Buderim and it is easy to see why. Buderim has a unique community spirit which is the envy of every other town in our great nation. If you want to put a finger on our community spirit, you must point to our unique Buderim War Memorial Community Association (BWMCA) . This group of volunteers is a living memorial to Australian Service men and women and keeps the traditional values of community alive and well! |
